- I'm trying to install a SLIP/PPP connection with my modem to my University.
-
- It doesn't seem to dial the number though!
-
- My modem is a U.S. Robotics Sportster. - Fax/Modem 14,400/9600 bps.
-
- I think it might have something to do with the Init String.
-
- The software works with a Compaq SpeedPaq modem at 9600 bps.
-
- Does anyone know a possible solution to this problem.
-
- Many thanks,
-
- Jake.
